Going Beyond Boca Raton

One of the best parts about staying in Boca Raton is its location. While there are plenty of things to explore locally, the city is close to some of Florida’s major attractions. Take a look at just a few places you’ll be able to visit while staying at the Ventura at Boca Raton. 

Miami 

Located just 45 minutes south of the resort, Miami is a bustling city filled with rich culture and architecture, a multitude of cuisines, and a trendy night life. It’s one of the state’s most popular vacation destinations. Coconut Grove, centered in the heart of Miami, offers a unique shopping experience with family-owned boutiques, galleries, gourmet restaurants, sidewalk cafes and more all anchoring the beautiful bay. The Vizcaya Museum & Gardens is known for its exquisite architecture and 10-acre gardens. Travel down to South Beach to visit the Art Deco Historic District, where you can view more than 800 historic buildings in the style of Art Deco, Mediterranean Revival and MiMo (Miami Modern). Disney World 

One of the most popular destinations in the world, let alone just Florida, is Walt Disney World. Grab a park hopper ticket and explore EpcotDisney’s Hollywood Studios, or Disney’s Animal Kingdom. During the summer months, you can splash up some fun at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon or Disney’s Blizzard Beach, two popular water parks. Meet your favorite Disney characters across the parks through their character experiences! You can even take home a little bit of Disney without going to the parks by visiting Disney Springs. This Disney-theme shopping center has more than 100 stores and 60 dining options to choose from, as well as dine-in movie theater. Disney Springs is a feast for the eyes, ears and taste buds! 

Universal Orlando 

If you’re looking for a little more action than magic, then look no further than Universal Orlando Resort! Divided into three parks, there is a lot to discover, and each park will give you a tailored experience! Islands of Adventure is the place for roller coaster fans. Blast off on the Incredible Hulk or take thrilling ride on Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. Don’t miss the Jurassic Park River Adventure or the Amazing Adventures of Spider Man. This park is packed with fun! Next door at Universal Studios Florida you can check out the Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, Transformers: The Ride 3D, the classic E.T. Adventure, and much, much more. Looking to cool off on a hot Florida day? Then make sure to visit Universal’s Volcano Bay where water and theme park meet! Get your heart racing on the Krakatau Aqua Coaster as it twists and turns through a life-sized volcano. Afterwards, grab a drink and relax on the Kopiko Wai Winding River. It’s the ideal place to beat the heat and make a splash.
